Courtney Bertram
Biography:
Courtney Bertram is the Director of the Victorian Office of Bushfire Risk Management and works with land and fire management agencies, Traditional Owners, stakeholders and communities to strengthen how bushfire risk is managed across public and private land. Prior to this, Courtney led her department’s involvement in key bushfire management inquiries, including the Royal Commission into National Natural Disaster Arrangements, and led the modernisation of Victoria’s Regional Forest Agreements. Courtney has qualifications in science, forest management and business administration, and has worked for the Victorian and NSW Governments and private sector. She enjoys working with others to find pragmatic solutions that will deliver lasting benefits for the community.
