Dr Rowena Morris
Biography:
Dr Rowena Morris works with Natural Hazards Research Australia (NHRA) as the NSW/ACT Node Research Manager. She previously worked for NSW and SA state government, Commonwealth government, numerous universities and CSIRO. She has been involved in many incident management teams, developing multiagency fire management plans, frontline bushfire response, planning and conducting prescribed burns. Rowena was part of the Black Summer fires as a frontline crew leader, planning with IMTs and the after response with NSW Government. She is now focusing on managing natural hazard research including prescribed burning, wildfires and other natural hazards.
