WEBINAR | Carbon Method Development

In May 2024, the Australian Government called for submissions as a new way of developing Australian Carbon Credits Units (ACCU) Scheme methods. Multiple stakeholders have proposed new and innovative methods, or changes to existing methods, as part of an EOI process. Some proposed methods would provide an expansion of the projects that can qualify for ACCUs, increase opportunities for forest and land managers, leverage the carbon benefits and co-benefits from adaptive forest management, and deliver better outcomes for our forests.

Webinar attendees will learn from key representatives of new proposals and existing methods – join Blair Freeman (Enhancing Native Forest Resilience, the method proposed by Forestry Australia), Zoe Ryan (Integrated Farm and Land Management) and Steve Hrast (Alternative assurance pathway for Schedule 1 plantation forestry), as they share further details on respective methods under the ACCU Scheme. This session is for anyone engaged or interested in Australia’s carbon market and related opportunities for forest management. A webinar not to be missed.
