Making a Complaint
What you need to know
The Institute of Foresters of Australia, trading as Forestry Australia, is a professional association with over 1,200 members. Our members are forest scientists, professionals, managers and growers operating in all aspects of forest and natural resource management throughout Australia.
We are committed to ensuring our members maintain the highest standards of conduct.
Forestry Australia has established a Complaints Process which sets out the procedures for submitting and determining a complaint alleging a breach of Forestry Australia’s Code of Conduct by a member of Forestry Australia.
The Guidance Notes for Complainants should help a potential complainant to determine whether there are grounds to complain and to understand the process for making and determining a complaint.
Forestry Australia makes no charge for dealing with complaints against its members.
