Applications for the A R Henderson Grant are currently closed.

The A R Henderson Trust was bequeathed by Allan Henderson.  IFA is a Trustee of the A R Henderson Trust Fund along with the federal Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

The purpose of the A R Henderson Grant is to enable IFA Voting or Associate members to refresh or improve their knowledge and skills.

$1,000 is made available each year to assist members to undertake an educational unit, attend a training course or other form of professional development activity.

The grant will not be made available to contribute to costs of undertaking a formal post-graduate degree (eg MSc, MBA or PhD) and in general funds will not be made available for attendance at conferences, however, if the applicant can demonstrate how attendance at a particular conference is relevant to their overall skill development proposal it may be considered.

Applications are currently closed.

Applicants need to provide the following information to IFA National Office:

  • Name and contact details
  • IFA membership number
  • Details of professional qualifications
  • The activity proposed (name, date and location) and benefit to be gained
  • Amount being requested.

In addition the IFA makes freely available other occasional publications including IFA Policy Statements, media releases and submissions.
